Villa Sofia - Taormina

This brand new apartment was absolutely mind-blowing! The kitchen was super modern and perfect for cooking, although with the jaw-dropping local restaurants, you may not want to. The owners were absolutely wonderful and made us feel so welcome. The bed was unbelievably comfy and the air conditioning was a lifesaver. The view from the room was beyond words - the sunrise with the beautiful sound of birds and the breathtaking sunset and full moon at night was like a piece of paradise. The bathroom was modern with a great shower. The owner has taken previous feedback seriously, as there is now a fantastic sofa on the balcony and you can't hear anything from the next door. The area was so calm and peaceful, and being on top of the mountain had the most amazing views of Taormina and the sea. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen had everything we needed with its cookware and utensils. Our host went above and beyond in his service, even guiding us to the apartment because of the steep climb. We loved every single thing about this apartment, except maybe the accessibility by car, but it was definitely worth it for the incredible views and the cool breezes on the balcony. This place truly felt like a piece of paradise!

The property had an astonishing view and exceptionally comfortable rooms. We greatly enjoyed how super friendly the staff was. Rooms here had a convenient decor. It was located in a peaceful area next to 'higher' Taormina, a mountain, and the city centre,.

Appreciated the easy check-in too. Had a shower, a hairdryer, and a bidet in the bathroom, that was nice. We appreciated the owner.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in a great location near the hillside, we really enjoyed being able to stroll from the uphill area to downtown.

The location of the hotel was quite far from the city center, requiring a difficult and steep walk uphill. This made it inconvenient to reach shops or supermarkets.

The view is breathtaking, the property is stylish and brand new. the terrace is spacious with comfortable outdoor furniture. the apartment is well-equipped and the bed is the best we've had in our entire trip.

The location of the hotel was quite inconvenient. It was situated on top of a steep hill, which made it a challenge to reach, especially during the hot weather.

It was perfect for them to splash around and have fun. They also thoroughly enjoyed the playground area, with its slides and swings. It provided hours of entertainment for them, and it was nice to have a space dedicated to their enjoyment.

My wife says that it would have been great if there was a kids' club or organized activities for children.

My stay at the breathtaking location of Villa Sofia was a dream come true. The host, Lorena, was out of this world, always quick to respond to any queries and even provided recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try. One of her suggestions, Etna, delivered delicious pizzas in minutes and had reasonable prices. There was even a convenient supermarket next to the restaurant. The apartment itself was clean, modern, and well-equipped, with a beautiful sea view. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning system was well-positioned for a comfortable sleep. the stay was fantastic, and I can't thank Lorena enough for her hospitality.

Clean towels were provided daily and the apartment was immaculately clean. We were able to easily arrange trips to Etna, Siracusa, and the GodFather Tour from the nearby Taormina center. the location allowed us to be close enough to the center for convenience and far enough away for peace and quiet in the evenings.

Felt completely relaxed, no complaints.
